Damien Rice wrote this song for Aung San Suu Kyi who is under house arrest since the 1990's for bein a democratic activist. "It is not power that corrupts but fear. Fear of losing power corrupts those who wield it and fear of the scourge of power corrupts those who are subject to it" (Aung San Suu Kyi) Its such a shame that Lisa Hannigan & Damien Rice aren't collaborating anymore. They are such a perfect complement! Irish music are really good. Love their vocals
