Get a Way
Back from my short getaway!!! Left on Saturday night and only got home this morning. Woke up at 7am this morning, its been a long long time since i woke up so early! Headed out to my grandparents' garden where they grew edible plants and flowers and fruits! Granny was watering the plants since it didn't rained the previous night. Fresh air was grrrrrreat (Y) The last time breathing such air was 2 years back? OBS camp, haha. Tranquility, i likey^^ I guess thats the difference. Wish we had stayed longer... Flipped through those old photos albums. From my parents' marriage to my uncle to my second aunt third aunt and fourth aunt. It even includes my grandparents' wedding photos, and perhaps several wonderful childhood memories of mine. I remembered how i used to be super close with my cousin, Jovin. We were always together everywhere. Its really strange how things had changed within a few years, maybe things changes as you grow. Hopefully things will turn better! Oh yes did i mentioned i used to be a bridesmaid for my third aunt with my cousins when i was about.... 8years old? Wearing the little white bridesmaid dress hand sewn by my granny. Those days. Its really funny how someone can look so happy in the photos, but yet doesn't feels that way. Its no wonder why people said photos are decieving. Ok, really need to go back there soon:)
Reached home and got ready to head out with yiqi yanseng and xinkai! While waiting for yiqi, a lady asked us for directions. Did not exactly gave her the right one but it still leads to the way she wanna head to. Then, i had to do a survey for poly students? And i did! Then, 3 Japanese ladies approached us speaking in Japanese language. They kept pointing at Yan and xinkai and i were like ?????? Haha but we still smiled, of course. Realised they wanna go to chinatown, then after that they changed to Diaso located in Ps. Used hand languages and english, trying hard to communicate the information to them. They thanked us :D We wanted to bring them up!! But we can't speak Jap for nuts and they did not understand us as well and thus we lost them somewhere. Lets hope they made their way safely:) Hope to learn jap next semester! Really enjoy talking to tourists, based on the experience i had when i worked at coast few months back:) Went to the cathay. Starbucks was extremely crowded so we eliminated that choice. We can head back to thomson starbucks actually hahah. Watched them study. Yiqi's promos are coming verrrry soon. And i brought my laptop along. The cathay has free wireless. Yes the whole building. Hehe. They were so distracted so in the end we bought food and have the usual "quarrels". Lots of laughters and smiles, and there was tears too? Uh. Yeah but overall i had fun. Favourite people! Met up with Hongyu and qx and the rest for awhile and chatted. Went home together with Xk :)
Anyway, Tinghui and I are very very very annoyed with this particular person! Lets hope all will be settled soon. I think friendships are really vulnerable. As if you will lose it any moment. As if all efforts will come to a naught no matter how much you had put in. There is no doubt friendships are bonds that could be broken by absence, distance or time. However, having said so, i still love my friends. Sigh. OKAYYYYYYY
I would like to go to Changi Broadwalk one of these few days! :) Its a pretty nice place during evenings! And i want to go fishing. One of the best ways to spend some alone time with yourself. I want to share some photos my eldest sister's boyfriend took
personally. He's currently over at Ireland now for his university exchange programme and will only come back at the end of the year. These photos are really amazing, at least to me. Really think they are beautiful. I want to go Ireland! For their culture, for their scenery, for their people, for their Irish music and yes, i want to go to their Irish pubs.
